New Hampshire's
Lakes Region is known for its extensive fishing. With
over 270 lakes and ponds and nearly 70,000 acres of water, Lake Winnipesaukee, Waukewan, Squam,
Newfound, Winnisquam and Sunapee all offer you the fishing
adventures you crave. With all this water around, you must be
thinking that there surely are
several annual fishing derbies, and there are. The biggest is the
Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby held in February, which is
followed by the Winni Derby in May. Have a look at the events
